Free Electricity — ₹4,200 Crore
What it means for you: If your home uses up to 150 units a month, your electricity bill becomes zero. Funds are set aside to pay KSEB directly, so the relief reaches roughly 1.2 crore households from the very first bill cycle.
Allocation 02
Welfare Pensions — ₹12,000 Crore
What it means for you: The monthly pension for the elderly, widows and differently-abled rises to ₹2,000 and is paid on time, every month. Pending arrears are fully cleared within this financial year.
Allocation 03
Health for All — ₹18,500 Crore
What it means for you: Free treatment up to ₹5 lakh per family under an expanded health insurance scheme, upgraded taluk hospitals, and free medicines at all government pharmacies.
Allocation 04
Education & Skills — ₹24,000 Crore
What it means for you: Free higher education for girls, tablets for Plus-Two students, and 50 new skill-training centres so young people can find jobs without leaving Kerala.

Farmer Support — ₹9,000 Crore
What it means for you: The ₹2,000 crore debt-relief package is fully funded, paddy procurement price raised to ₹32/kg, and crop insurance premiums paid by the government for small farmers.

Housing — Nava Aashraya — ₹6,500 Crore
What it means for you: 50,000 new homes sanctioned this year for landless families, with priority for SC/ST households and Wayanad landslide survivors — the first step in the 5-lakh-homes promise.

Jobs & Industry — ₹14,000 Crore

Deputy CM & Finance Minister P. K. Kunhalikutty presented the UDF government's first budget: "We have not added a single new burden on the common man. Every rupee in this budget is spent to keep an Indira Guarantee — free electricity, higher pensions, free healthcare and homes for the homeless. This is a people's budget, written for the kitchen table, not the boardroom."
